Haida Nation pressuring sport fishermen to stay away during pandemic

A group of Haida Nation members confronted some sport fishermen at the Vancouver Airport who were flying to the island of Haida Gwaii.

It’s another way band members are showing their concern about exposure to the novel coronavirus.

They’re worried tourists will bring the infection to their small communities now that fishing lodges have reopened.
