Lake of the Woods cottagers stranded after FN ends road use

A First Nation near northwestern Ontario’s popular Lake of the Woods has advised hundreds of cottagers they need to find a new route in and out.

This after Washagamis Bay announced it’s ending road-use agreements – effective immediately.

The move essentially turns the cottagers into islanders.
