Saskatchewan monument dedicated to residential school students

A monument dedicated to hundreds of First Nations children who attended residential schools in La Ronge, Sask. has been erected on the grounds where one once stood.

Survivors and their descendants, as well as Aboriginal leaders from across the province, attended the unveiling during the Woodland Cree gathering in northern Saskatchewan.
