Red Dress Day attracts thousands across the country


If you were at The Forks in Winnipeg on the weekend you would have witnessed what some people are calling the largest turn out for the annual MMIWG2S Walk for Justice. It’s estimated 1,000 people came out to show their support for survivors and families of Indigenous women and girls and Two-Spirit people who have experienced violence.

A similar scene played out in a number of communities in Canada.
