A couple dozen southern Canadians are getting an eye -opening experience on life in northern Ontario.

They flew out of Toronto last week to Kitchenuhmaykoosib Inninuwug First Nation, also known as Big Trout Lake.

APTN’s Delaney Windigo and Jason Leroux are there.

They’ve experienced fishing, plucking geese and the high prices of food in the remote, fly-in, community.
