Grassroots Winnipeg group mobilizes for families left homeless by fire

Fire left more than two dozen people homeless

The north-end of Winnipeg is Canada’s largest urban Aboriginal community.

So when a fire ripped through a housing complex, leaving more than two dozen people homeless, it was volunteers from an Indigenous grassroots organization that stepped-in.

APTN’s Dennis Ward has this story.
