The battle over a 6,000-year-old archaeological site across the river from Ottawa is heading to court.

At the end of the summer, a group of off-reserve Algonquin people occupied a portion of a construction site in Gatineau, Quebec.

They say a multi-million dollar development project threatens to destroy a sacred site.

As APTN’s Jorge Barrera reports, the head of the occupiers has enlisted a big name to help.
