The Saskatoon Tribal Council is working with several community partners to feed more than 1,000 people a day, five days a week.
It’s a massive effort to shore up food security since Saskatchewan declared a state of emergency as part of the COVID-19 pandemic on March 18.
So far the group has enough money to keep the program going until the end of June.
