Shoot like a pro – tips from accomplished photogs and videographers


Almost everyone has done it. Walking through a neighbourhood or on the land, out with family or friends – we see the opportunity to take a great photo.

Smartphones and other gadgets have made it easier than ever for all of us to capture those incredible moments that can be frozen in time.

But you must admit, despite the advancements in photography – we’re not all created equal.

While an Android or Apple phone is just fine for most of us, some like the more advanced forms of photography. We’ve all seen them – fantastic shots of a fly smiling taken from a kilometre away.

In this edition of InFocus, we talk to both camps on the photography front.

We get advice and tricks of the trade from some of the country’s most accomplished photographers.

And we’ll show you all of the incredible photos our followers have sent us over the past week.
