‘What are we going to do?’ Mill closure deals heavy blow to Manitoba First Nation

Employees of Tolko Industries in The Pas, Manitoba were shocked to hear the news.

By the end of the year, the mill will close.

More than 300 workers will be out of a job, including many from the neighbouring Opaskwayak Cree Nation.
