Water warrior Autumn Peltier honoured at Toronto school

Water protector Autumn Peltier was invited to a special ceremony this week in Toronto. Students at the Central Toronto Academy painted a mural of Peltier in honour of the work she has done on protecting water.

Students at the Central Toronto Academy painted a mural of Peltier in honour of the work she has done on protecting water.

Peltier and her family were present to see the mural for themselves.

“It’s really cool to hear and see that there’s kid actually hearing my message, hearing what I want to say and they are listening. and it’s just really amazing,” said Peltier.

The school encourages students to get involved and take action on important issues.
