Robert Falcon-Ouellette gives inspiring speech after Winnipeg mayoral vote

Winnipeg elected its first Indigenous mayor but one of the most inspiring candidates was Robert Falcon-Ouellette.

He may have began as a fringe candidate but ended up in a strong third with nearly 16 per cent of the vote (over 30,000).

Here is some of Falcon-Ouellette’s speech from Wednesday night after the ballots were counted.
