Two federal cabinet minister were in Iqaluit Wednesday to announce changes to the government’s much maligned Nutrition North food subsidy.

Two federal cabinet minister were in Iqaluit Wednesday to announce changes to the government’s much maligned Nutrition North food subsidy.

Indian Affairs Minister John Duncan alongside Health Minister Leona Aglukkaq unveiled new products that would fall under the program.

Depending on your point of view, the ministers were either back-peddling from their original position, or responding to the complaints of Nunavummiut.
