Nunavut community declares emergency after learning their fuel can’t run their snow clearing machines

The Nunavut community of Clyde River has declared a state of emergency and part of the reason has to do with a series of blizzards that have hit the region since the beginning of the years.

The bigger reason though is that the North Baffin hamlet can’t get their snow clearing equipment to work – and as it turns out, they’ve been using the wrong fuel for years.
