Minister of Indigenous Affairs says MMIW inquiry will be up and running by summer of 2016

Indigenous Affairs Minister Carolyn Bennett says an inquiry into the issues of missing and murdered Indigenous women should be up and running before the summer of 2016.

Bennett added that pre-inquiry meetings are underway to lay the ground rules for the proceedings.
