Large crowd in Winnipeg for Idle No More

First Nation citizens came out in cities across Canada to protest what they call a lack of consultation by Prime Minister Stephen Harper and the federal government.

The Harper government is making changes to First Nation governance and environmental protection laws.

They had a message for Harper – They’re Idle No More.

APTN National News reporter Ntwanis Piapot tells us what happened in Winnipeg.
