Kashechewan students travel to Ottawa with message for government

Students and leaders from Kashechewan greeted members of parliament returning from the summer break with a rally demanding that they build a new school in the community.

The portables in the Cree community on the shores of James Bay were flooded out forcing officials to close them.

Now, they say, a new school is needed.
