Kanesatake marches in "love and respect"

In Quebec, members of the Mohawk community of Kanesatake wanted to show their support to Theresa Spence and other First Nations taking part in Wednesday;s Day of Action.

Kanesatake has a special connection to Indigenous resistance.

As APTN National News reporter Danielle Rochette explains, the minds of many of the Mohawks marching were taken back to the days of the Oka crisis.
