Traditionally, it’s an Inuit means of transport.

Originally built to navigate the choppy waters of the Arctic, the kayak has since become popular all over the world.

That includes the Mohawk community of Kahnawake.

As APTN’s Tom Fennario reports, that’s where two young Mohawk women are quickly climbing the sport’s ranks in Quebec.
