Indigenous languages, the environment and water discussed at French debate

The leaders of Canada’s federal political parties in the House of Commons gathered in Gatineau, Que., on Algonquin unceded territory, to debate the issues at hand Wednesday night.

Among the topics debated were Indigenous languages, the environment, water and racism.

One question the leaders with the exception of Liberal leader Justin Trudeau were asking was why was there a federal election to begin with.
