Indigenous advocacy groups calling for national day of prayer

On April 23, several Indigenous political advocacy groups are called for a national day of prayer for those who are sick or in need of support.

At times done in private and other times within community events, Indigenous people in Toronto are reaching out to one another online amid the COVID-19 pandemic, and the need for self-isolation.

In Canada’s largest city, the Native Canadian Centre of Toronto is hosting popular events through Facebook live.
