Supporters from more than 100 American Tribes converged on North Dakota to stand side by side with the Standin Rock Sioux Tribe in their fight against the construction of the Dakota Access pipeline project.

On Friday, everyone was waiting for a U.S. Federal court judge would support an injunction to stop work on the site the Sioux Tribe says is sacred ground.

Dennis is Métis from southern Manitoba. After spending a decade working in TV in Alberta and Ontario, Dennis returned to Manitoba to join APTN’s Winnipeg bureau as a reporter/correspondent in September 2014.
