Groups in B.C. speak out against proposed Teck Frontier Mine in Alberta

A number of environmental groups demanded that Canada’s environment minister say no to a massive tar sands project in northern Alberta.

Indigenous Climate Action, Westcoast Environmental Law and the Smith Landing First Nation were some of the parties who put pen to paper to tell the government to say no to the Teck Frontier Mine.

A number of First Nation and Metis communities in the area support the project.
