Federal Conservatives commit, “in principle” to building a road to Shoal Lake 40

After battling with a Manitoba First Nation over a road to link the community, the Harper government is now committing, in principle, to linking Shoal Lake 40 to the rest of the world.

The announcement came after a former Conservative MP spoke out in favour of the road.
