‘Double, double toil and trouble’: Indigenous version of Macbeth goes online

Pawakan Macbeth is an Indigenous adaptation of one of Shakespeare’s more famous plays and soon anyone, anywhere in the world, will be able to watch it.

The touring company was supposed to bring the play to theatres across the Northwest Territories this spring, but the COVID-19 pandemic put a stop to that.

The pandemic hasn’t stopped the play’s creators from making a condensed version on the web.
