Six months have passed since a First Nation leader was beaten to death in the streets of Midland, Ont.

Andrew Mixemong was coming to the aid of his wife who was being harrassed by two men.

The small community located two hours north of Toronto is still mourning the loss.

APTN National News reporter Annette Francis went there and has this story.

    Never heard this story before. Many Towns nearby Indian communities are filled with hate. They hate the idea of Indians. They will get 3 years and plead down to manslaughter.
