Common-law husband not guilty in toddler’s death

APTN National News
Reporter Tiar Wilson joins Michael Hutchinson to talk about the case of baby Venetia Audy.

Audy was in the care of her mother and her mother’s common-law husband when she died, at three years old. The husband was charged with the murder of the little girl, but a judge in Dauphin determined he wasn’t guilty.

Audy’s grandmother and aunt had asked the courts to let the child live with them, but were denied.
