Children’s Aid won’t intervene in case of Six Nations girl who refused chemo

A First Nations family is breathing a sigh of relief tonight after a child welfare agency announced that it will not get involved in their case.

Makayla Sault was receiving chemotherapy for leukemia and made the decision to stop because of the way it made her feel.

The children’s hospital in Hamilton where she was being treated called in Children’s Aid.
