A Saskatchewan Aboriginal mother is fighting against a school board who says they hold the lawful authority to restrain and seclude their students.

A Saskatchewan Aboriginal mother is fighting against a school board who says they hold the lawful authority to restrain and seclude their students.

The Criminal Code of Canada states that unlawful or forcible confinement is defined when anyone who, without lawful authority, confines, imprisons or forcibly seizes another person.
