A look inside Edmonton’s tent cities for homeless people

APTN National News
Some of Edmonton’s homeless sleep on the streets, in back alleys and dumpsters.

But others have set up home in the wooded areas in and around the inner city and along the river valley.

APTN recently visited some of these camps.

  1. Cindy says:

My heart really goes out to the homeless. Knowing that some of them go for days without eating or having a decent bed to sleep on. I know what it’s like as I have lived that lifestyle to at one time. Once in awhile I cook up a meal and make as many plates as possible and my children will hand them out to these people on the street’s. They are greatful for at least one hot meal a day. If I can do more to help, lord knows I would. God bless.
