APTN first told you the story of Evan Maud in December 2010.
At the time Maud alleged the Winnipeg police took him on what is known as a “starlight tour” where police pick someone up and drop them off outside of city limits forcing them to walk back.
An investigation determined the complaint was untrue and Maud was charged with mischief.
Thursday, he made a public apology to police.
