Face To Face: Dr. Jim Simm talks about the ongoing fentanyl crisis

Dennis Ward
APTN Face To Face
The fentanyl crisis has claimed hundreds of lives across the country.  But Dr. Jim Simm believes the drug is just the latest in a long line of dangerous opioids that have been around for the past 17 years.

Dr. Simm is a psychiatrist who specializes in the assessment and treatment of patients with addictions. He joins Dennis Ward on Face to Face to talk about the ongoing fentanyl crisis and how he believes it’s linked back to the approval and over prescription of OxyContin in the late 1990’s and early 2000’s.
