Robert J. Ballantyne
Robert is an Indigenous storyteller, web developer, and filmmaker. Before joining APTN, he was a producer with CBC’s The Fifth Estate, Marketplace, The National, As It Happens and was also a staff reporter for the Toronto Star. He is a member of Misipawistik Cree Nation in Manitoba and a Mohawk from Six Nations of the Grand River. He has a Bachelor of Journalism degree from Ryerson University, a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Ottawa and is currently completing his Master of Journalism degree at Carleton University.
