Edmund Metatawabin has led a long legal battle to expose abuse at St. Anne’s Indian Residential School at Fort Albany in Northern Ontario.
His new book tells it all, Up Ghost River: A Chief’s Journey Through the Turbulent Waters of Native History.
Ted Fontaine is also a published author and not only a Survivor but as he likes to say, a Residential School Victor.
Both give their take on why governments and churches protect the identity of perpetrators.
