$25M announced in Ontario’s budget for Indigenous businesses, entrepreneurs

Of the 268 pages in Ontario’s budget, Indigenous issues took up two paragraphs of the financial document that will guide the province over the next year.

The money announced will go to Indigenous-owned businesses and entrepreneurs.

But it’s not the kind of money First Nations leaders were asking for – mainly to help with affordable housing.

The budget also includes money for highways and infrastructure, hospitals and health infrastructure.
