It’s been ten months since the occupation of a proposed real estate development near Six Nations, near Caledonia, Ontario. It has been called the 1492 Land Back Lane movement. Last week hereditary chiefs called for a moratorium on development in their territory and said construction can't proceed without the consent of the people. In a press conference Monday Elected Chief Mark Hill extended his support to Skyler Williams and the 1492 Land Back Lane movement.
