Quebec’s Indigenous Affairs minister replaced with former Montreal cop

Quebec Premier Francois Legault announced Friday that Ian Lafrenière, a former army reservist and head of communications for Montreal police force, is replacing Sylvie D’Amours as the province’s minister for Indigenous Affairs. The announcement comes amidst the uproar over the death of Joyce Echaquan.
