National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence against Women

December 6 is the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence against Women. The day commemorates the killing of 14 women at École Polytechnique in 1989. The Ontario Native Women's Association marked the day by raising a Wrapped in Courage flag.
