Kahnawake Mohawk Territory extends state of emergency

While the province of Quebec slowly reopens its economy, the Kahnawake Mohawk Territory is keeping its borders closed. The move was unanimously approved by chief and council. The community’s COVID-19 task force will continue its work ahead of the tentative June 1 opening.
