Elder from Matimekosh/Lac-John dies from COVID-19

An Elder from the Innu community of Matimekosh/Lac-John in Quebec has died from COVID-19. Tadhée André He’s the first person from the Innu nation to die from the virus. André was once a chief in the community located near the Quebec, Labrador border.
