Discovery Island farms present little risk to wild salmon stocks says DFO

A decision to shut down or keep open 18 open-net fish farms in B.C. was supposed to be made at the end of September. Now the Department of Fisheries and Oceans says the Discovery Island farms present little risk to wild Fraser River salmon stocks. APTN’s Tina House has the latest.
