A First Nations elder and a community activist are receiving Manitoba’s highest honour

Elder Mary Courchene, a residential school survivor, and Mitch Bourbonniere, an educator and community activist are receiving Manitoba’s highest honour. The two are among twelve people who will be awarded the Order of Manitoba.
