It was a roller coaster kind of day at the Standing Rock protest camp in North Dakota.

That’s where more than a thousand people opposed to construction of an oil pipeline have been camped – some since April.

First, a U.S. Federal court judge denies the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe’s request for an injunction against the construction of the Dakota Access pipeline project.

Then moments later, the Obama administration
