Grassy Narrows First Nation receives $69.8 million to address mercury problem

The waters of Grassy Narrows First Nation were poisoned by mercury in the 1960s, causing debilitating symptoms for generations of residents. The community has received $69.8 million to fund a care home for people living with the effects of mercury poisoning.
