The consequences of not receiving a status card on time

Twenty days by mail - That's about how long it takes to get a passport. A status card is another story. A government of Canada website says 16 weeks. NDP MP Rachel Blaney is sponsoring an online petition aimed to have status cards processed in the same time as passports.
