A new Indigenous sci-fi/thriller is set to debut this month. The Beehive tackles rocky family dynamics and grief in the midst of an alien invasion. The film is written and directed by Métis filmmaker Andrew Lasheras. One of the stars is Meadow Kingfisher, who is from Sturgeon Lake First Nation in Saskatchewan.
