Nation challenges B.C. against laws not requiring consultation

The Gitxaala Nation in B.C. says current laws regarding mining do not require consent or consultation with Indigenous nations. Monday, the nation filed a legal challenge in the B.C. Supreme Court because they have been living with the consequences of bad mining practices.
