Mi’kmaw Nation, Parks Canada sign agreement to establish new national park reserve
It took 20 years of negotiations, but the Mi'kmaw Nation of Prince Edward Island and Parks Canada will establish and co-govern a new national park reserve.
It's called Pituamkek, which means 'At the Long Sand Dune'.
