Metis man allowed to complete fast for suicide epidemic awareness at Sask. Legislature

Metis man Tristen Durocher went on a 600kms journey from Air Ronge to Regina over the summer to draw attention to a suicide epidemic in northern Saskatchewan. When he got to Regina he set up a teepee in front of the legislative building and started a 44 day ceremonial liquids only fast. In August the province sought a court order to remove him. In September a judge ruled that Durocher could stay and complete his fast.
