Iqaluit receives funding towards hydroelectric project

Every one of Nunavut’s 25 communities are run on diesel power, which is expensive when you have to send it all by ship. Northern Affairs Minister Dan Vandal was in Iqaluit Wednesday to announce $4 million in funding toward a hydroelectric project.
